About the role

We’re looking for a Data Analyst (Fraud Prevention) to help us detect and prevent fraudulent activity across our platform. This role is ideal for someone with solid analytical skills who enjoys diving into data, identifying suspicious behavior, and contributing to strategies that reduce risk and protect our users. You’ll work closely with the Fraud and Risk team, combining hands-on monitoring with data analysis and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:

• Monitor fraud dashboards and alerts to detect unusual or suspicious activity
• Review and investigate individual fraud cases, identifying root causes and proposing mitigations
• Analyze large datasets to uncover fraud patterns, trends, and vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand products, identify potential fraud vectors, and suggest improvements
• Support the design and monitoring of key fraud-related metrics and KPIs
• Help define and improve existing rules, thresholds, and detection mechanisms based on insights
• Document investigations and support reporting efforts
• Contribute ideas and analysis to improve fraud prevention strategies

What we’re looking for:

• SQL, especially working with BigQuery
• Experience using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for data analysis and workflows
• Experience using Python or other analytical tools is a plus
• Previous experience (or strong interest) in fraud detection, risk analysis, or similar roles
• Solid analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
• Highly proactive, organized, and eager to take ownership of tasks and improvements
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
