Our mission at Percent is to power purpose in every company and nonprofit worldwide. We already work with 30+ industry giants such as Google, HSBC & TikTok. We enable them to quickly and easily build giving into their products, enabling nonprofits to access these innovative new funding streams.

Our donation volume is growing rapidly: in 2021 we donated $3.5m. In 2022, $120m, and in 2023 we donated over $1bn. This year our mission is to enable over $3 billion of donations to good causes. To achieve this we need you.

As a vital global team member, you will help us create a market-leading technical sales customer experience. You will be responsible for building customer relationships alongside sales leadership, analysing product fit, proposing technical architectures, producing product demonstrations, anticipating roadblocks, and recommending creative solutions, thus driving our mission forward with each interaction.

You will interface globally with our CEO, Head of Product and VP of GTM & Partnerships.

As Solutions Engineer at Percent, your mission will be to:
  • Help new and existing Enterprise customers envision and implement our products into their businesses
  • Support with post-sales success, building on customer technical relationships beyond implementation
  • Play a critical role in our deal success, product evolution, and long-term customer success
  • Build and present product demos to help showcase the capabilities of Percent
  • Assist customers with Pilot and Proof-of-Concept implementations
  • Recommend solutions engineering best practices and help improve process + overall implementation strategy + speed
  • Quickly learn new products and new technologies
  • Form a deep understanding of our customers business and help solve problems you have identified as well as uncover areas of opportunity
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with customers and present creative new solutions that enable and inspire innovation
  • Support and assist with customer hackathons
This role would be a good fit for you if you have:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in solutions engineering (pre-sales)
  • Experience building with, troubleshooting, testing and documenting REST APIs
  • Ability to understand, read, and modify existing code, preferably JavaScript and TypeScript, and work with version control and issue tracking systems such as Github and Jira
  • A get-things-done attitude and you are a hands-on, high-energy, passionate, and a creative problem solver with the ability to lead others to success
  • A strong sense of collaboration as a customer advisor and with internal global team members
  • Ability to present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of technical skill sets and audience sizes
Bonus points, but not required, if you have:
  • Start up / Scale up experience
  • Experience in or understanding of the social impact space

  • Comp: USD $94,000 - 140,000 DOE +Share Options
