Job Description: EUV Lithography Engineer – Applications & Business Development
Position Summary
xLight is seeking a technologist to drive its engagement and interface with our lithography customers. As part of the business development team, the EUV Lithography Engineer is part scientist, part marketing, part business development and ecosystem engagement. The xLight source technology unlocks new potential in resist systems, patterning capability, new paradigms in metrology and inspection and other applications. Candidate will be interfacing with all aspects of the EUV ecosystem working at the technical level with resist suppliers, equipment companies, consortia, fabs, EDA and fabless ecosystem partners. Multiple projects will be in process with deliverables over the course of weeks to years, managing parallel efforts from beam-line experiments at National Labs to engagement with technical stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and expand technical connections and relationships across fabs and ecosystem partners
- Identify and report on key technical, design, and process inflections, trends, and requirements across EUV lithography and fab processing that can impact xLight Source requirements
- Partner internally with engineering and marketing to drive fab technical requirements into product engineering requirements and associated business value proposition
- Identify key experiments and opportunities that an xLight source can impact and enable, design and execute experiments with international and domestic lab and ecosystem collaborators
- Support and educate xLight teams on fab insertion and deployment to enable high-reliability operation with minimal fab operational impact
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an EUV Lithographer with a minimum of 3 years in a process or module development role for advanced node devices
- Working knowledge of every aspect of process module development, lithography simulation, TCAD simulation, PDK rules, tape-out and OPC, fab processing, litho module optimization, supporting metrology and inspection and analytical methods.
- Expert in at least two of the disciplines across the lithography development cell as listed above
- Experience in software, tooling, and systems to deliver effective experimental information turns
- Self-directed, working with minimal oversight across geographies and stakeholders
- Advanced degree in materials science, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, applied physics or related technical degree.
- Excellent communication and influencing ability with all levels of the organization - skilled listener and communicator who can manage many parallel workflows across multiple customers, consortia, and industry partners
Work Location: North America, Travel 33%+ - Travel amount dependent on work location
This job posting contains the base salary range that xLight believes it would be willing to pay for the posted job. The actual salary offered will be determined within the posted range based on a candidate's experience, credentials, and expertise as they pertain to the requirements of the position. Geographical factors may also be a consideration.
